finally caught up with a couple of the Red-headed Woodpeckers in the
Tyngborough section of the Lowell-Dracut-Tyngsboro State Forest. This
bird mostly hung out in a few select trees on the edge of a swamp just
north of the gate on Trotting Pond Rd. (off Althea Rd. ) Another bird
that looked like it wasn't quite in adult plumage was frequenting a
small group of trees in the north-northwestern portion of the swamp. |
